K.L. Paterson

K.L. Paterson grew up on a diet of Trixie Belden, Nancy Drew and The Three Investigators mysteries, before moving on to Sweet Dreams and Windswept teen romances. So it’s no surprise that she now writes mysteries and romance! Her romance and women’s fiction is written as Kerrie Paterson.

Her stories are usually set in small Australian towns with a cast of heartwarming characters, most often in their 40s, 50s and beyond.

An Air Force brat, Elizabeth grew up always being the new kid, so she learned to lose
herself in books. Writing her own stories was a natural progression. After attending
the University of Alabama where she studied creative writing and graduated with a
BA in English, Elizabeth taught for many years. She joined a writing group in 2019,

Marie-Claude Arnott

Marie-Claude Arnott is thrilled to have joined the Tule Publishing Group as the first author of its new nonfiction imprint. Her memoir Biography of a Friendship was released in March 2024. 

She lives in Vancouver with her husband and regularly visits her family in France and California. As a fourteen-year-old writing expressive letters to her best friend’s father in a long-term facility, she was told she should be a writer. Instead, she studied foreign languages early on, then got a BA in International Studies and a diploma for a two-year distance learning course from the London School of Journalism, later. She wrote for a citizen journalism site, SEO-based content, travel stories for an award-winning digital magazine, and a column for a newspaper. A collection of nonfiction stories and a novel inspired by a true story are in the works. She is a member of the Federation of British Columbia Writers, the North Shore Writers’ Association, and the International Women’s Writing Guild.

Laura Brown

After spending her childhood coming up with new episodes to her favorite sitcoms instead of sleeping, Laura Brown decided to try her hand at writing and never looked back. A hopeless romantic, she married her high school sweetheart, though they didn’t even go to the same high school! They live in Massachusetts with two cats with cerebellar hypoplasia, and an energetic kid who keeps them on their toes.

Her book Dandelion Wishes was made into a TV movie – Love in Harmony Valley, starring Amber Marshall. She lives in Oregon’s wine country with her husband – her basketball-playing college sweetheart. While raising three kids, the couple did the soccer thing, the karate thing, the dance thing, the Little League thing and, of course, the basketball thing. Now when Melinda isn’t writing and Mr. Curtis isn’t watching college basketball, they do the DIY thing.
